The following Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your access to and use of the website of S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care, operated from India.

By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these T&C along with our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these T&C, you must discontinue the use of our website and services.

Psychological counselling cannot be generalized. The nature of therapy varies from therapist to therapist and depends on your individual needs. Sessions may involve discussing distressing memories or emotions, which may evoke discomfort such as anger, guilt, frustration, fear, or sadness.

All information shared on our website or social media platforms is for educational purposes only and must not be considered as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care is not a suicide-prevention helpline, emergency service provider, or a platform for crisis intervention. We do not prescribe psychiatric medication.

Definitions

“Content” includes all textual, visual, and audio material published on our website or social media platforms (text, images, infographics, videos, etc.).

“Intellectual Property Rights” refers to copyrights, trademarks, design rights, trade secrets, or any other proprietary rights related to our Content.

“Services” refer to psychological counselling, psychotherapy, psychometric assessments, or any therapeutic intervention offered through S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care.

“SOCH”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care, its therapists, associates, and team members.

 

Age Criteria

You must be 18 years or older (or of legal adult age in your jurisdiction) to use our services independently.
Parents or legal guardians may avail services on behalf of a minor under 18 years of age.

 

Therapists / Counselors

The therapists associated with S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care are trained mental health professionals holding recognized qualifications and relevant experience.

 

Sessions

Sessions may be conducted via in-person meetings, video calls or phone calls.

Each session typically lasts 50-60 minutes, unless stated otherwise.
If you join late, the session duration will be reduced accordingly.

All appointments at S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care must be pre-booked in advance.
We do not accommodate walk-in sessions.
Appointments are allotted based on therapist availability and are only confirmed once the payment is received (as applicable).
Same-day appointments may be limited and are not guaranteed.

S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care reserves the right to terminate services if:

• • you engage in threatening, abusive, or violent behaviour;
  • you intentionally conceal involvement in ongoing legal matters that may affect therapy.

 

Fee

All fees are payable in advance at the time of booking.
No appointment is confirmed until the payment is completed.

Fees vary based on:

• • type and duration of service
  • therapist expertise
  • assessments/tests requested or recommended

If you contact your therapist outside scheduled sessions and the conversation exceeds 10 minutes, a prorated fee may be applicable.

Failure to pay fees may result in discontinuation of services or legal action (as per applicable jurisdiction).

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your session, you must inform us at least 2 hours in advance.

No-show or late cancellation (within 2 hours):
The fee will be charged in full and will not be refunded.

Exceptions may be made only in cases of genuine emergencies.

 

Intellectual Property

All content on the S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care website and social media pages is the exclusive property of S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care.

You may not copy, adapt, publish, sell, distribute, or commercially use any content without written permission.

 

Liability

You use our website and services at your own risk.

S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care is not liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• • reliance on content on the website or social media
  • your use or inability to use our services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the six months preceding the claim.

S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care does not support insurance reimbursement for therapy sessions.

 

Representations & Duties

By using our services, you confirm that:

• you meet the Age Criteria
• the information you provide is accurate and complete
• you will not post harmful, illegal, abusive, or infringing content on our website or social platforms

You agree to indemnify S.O.C.H. Therapeutic Care against claims arising from:

• violation of these T&C
• non-payment of fees
• infringement of third-party rights

 

Dispute Resolution

These T&C shall be governed by the laws of India.

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in India (city/state can be added if you wish e.g., Delhi, Agra, Noida).

Waiver
